[On the Front Lines] China-Europe Railway Express Opens a Fast Track for the Export of Domestically Produced Automobiles

Recently, a JSQ China-Europe freight train loaded with 232 domestically produced automobiles departed from the Shaliang Logistics Park, bound for Bely Rast, Moscow, Russia, after exiting China via Alashankou. It is expected to arrive in approximately 12 days.

The train carries only domestically produced automobiles manufactured in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, with a total value exceeding 20 million RMB. This shipment opens a fast export channel for domestically branded automobiles.

In recent years, my country’s automobile manufacturing technology has continuously improved, and the automobile industry has entered a stage of high-quality development.

Leveraging its core advantages as a national logistics hub with a land port, the center proactively expands international intermodal transport services for automobiles, creating dedicated new logistics trunk lines and customizing safe and efficient railway logistics solutions for clients, better supporting local automobiles in “going global.”

To meet the export needs of local Inner Mongolian automakers, the center tailored a transportation solution using JSQ-type specialized vehicle transport vehicles.

This vehicle has a double-decker structure, with each section capable of carrying 9-10 vehicles, nearly doubling the loading capacity compared to traditional container transport.

Simultaneously, measures such as priority allocation of empty vehicles, priority loading, and priority release were implemented to provide efficient end-to-end services and strengthen the train’s operational capabilities.

In the first 10 months of this year, the center operated JSQ China-Europe freight trains, transporting a total of 5,170 domestically produced vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 16.5%.

The center closely follows the deployment requirements of the 15th Five-Year Plan outlined in the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee regarding “high-quality joint construction of the ‘Belt and Road’ and enhancing the development level of China-Europe freight trains,” actively implementing the group company’s strategy of serving regional development and continuously strengthening its key hub function as a bridgehead for opening up to the north.

With stable and efficient railway transportation services, it has won the trust and choice of numerous enterprises, making China-Europe freight trains a vital channel for cross-border freight transportation. This not only effectively reduces the overall logistics costs of society but also injects logistical power into the high-quality development of the regional economy and society.
