According to Russian media reports, Xiaomi Auto is expected to enter the Russian market, thanks to its cooperation with a new partner, and the two sides will work together to promote Xiaomi Auto products in the global market.
The partner is a subsidiary of Sinomach Auto, which is responsible for selling Oting and Rox brand cars in Russia.
Previously, “Sinomach Auto” opened a logistics terminal in the Siberian Federal District.
The terminal includes a 1,000 square meter warehouse with a capacity for 80 cars, a loading and unloading area that can simultaneously load 12 car transporters, and a storage area that can accommodate up to 2,000 cars.
By the end of 2025, Russia’s “Sinomach Auto” company plans to open more than 60 4S stores across Russia, including multi-brand and single-brand dealerships.
Xiaomi Motors currently sells only one electric sedan called Xiaomi SU7 in the Chinese market. Since its launch on March 28, 2024, this model has quickly become a hit, with sales exceeding 139,000 units in less than a year.
So much so that Xiaomi factories still have difficulty meeting the hot market demand.
Today, the production waiting period for ordering a new Xiaomi SU7 is as long as 22 to 31 weeks (5-8 months).
Currently, Xiaomi cars are only sold in the Russian market through parallel imports, and car owners cannot enjoy official warranty, software updates and technical support.
In 2024, a total of 179 Xiaomi cars were sold in the Russian market.
With the official entry of Xiaomi cars, Russian consumers will be able to enjoy more complete after-sales services.

Xiaomi SU7 is a medium-to-large electric sedan with dimensions of 4997×1963×1455 mm and a wheelbase of 3000 mm.
The car is equipped with a refrigerator, 25 speakers and a large 16.1-inch screen.
The entry-level SU7 is equipped with a 299-horsepower electric motor, and the all-wheel drive version can output 673 horsepower and has a range of 700-830 kilometers.
Its price in the Chinese market is 215,900-299,900 yuan (about 2.85-3.95 million rubles).

If Xiaomi Motors enters the Russian market, it will compete with international brands such as Tesla and local Russian electric car brands.
Tesla already has a certain user base and brand influence in the Russian market, and local Russian brands are also actively developing electric car technology.
Xiaomi Motors needs to play to its own advantages, such as cost-effectiveness, intelligent configuration and fast-iterating technology, to gain a place in the competition.
