In terms of major brands, domestic cars have taken the initiative in the market, with BYD and Chery both realizing cliff leads, while Geely has risen to sixth place, and domestic car brands such as MG, Haval, Baojun, Jetway and Chang’an are also firmly in the top ten.

The data shows that the export share of national brands is continuing to climb, especially the head brands like Chery and BYD, which are taking the lead.The top five on the list remained unchanged, with four of them being national brands. BYD defended its title for four consecutive months, with export sales exceeding the 80,000-unit mark in May, while Chery Automobile was also in the lead of the cliff, with export sales of a single brand exceeding 70,000 units.
Geely’s performance was equally impressive, as it rose to sixth place in the rankings and its export sales exceeded the 20,000-unit mark in a single month.
In addition, domestic car brands such as MG, Haval, Baojun, Jetway and Chang’an are also firmly in the top 10. MG cars are highly favored in Europe, and its main models, MG ZS and MG3, are more popular in the UK market.
Haval has always been at the top of the Russian market, and JAC, which is not well known in the domestic market, had export sales of more than 10,000 units in May, while JAC, GAC-Tranqi, the Tank brand, Xingtu Automobile, and Geely Galaxy were all in the top 20 of the export sales list.
Finally, in terms of overseas brands, Tesla is still riding high, with export sales of more than 23,000 units in May, Tesla Model Y is still the sales bearer, while the domestic sales performance of Yueda Kia is average, but its export sales can be stable in the top ten, in addition to Beijing Hyundai, Volvo Asia-Pacific and Chang’an Lincoln and other brands, the export sales are also among the top.
