| BYD Datang

The BYD Datang is the first full-size flagship SUV in the D-segment from Dynasty.com. It made its global debut on March 5th and will begin pre-sales during the Beijing Auto Show in April, with official launch and deliveries starting in early May.

The all-wheel-drive version features a total power output of 585kW from the front and rear motors, achieving 0-100km/h acceleration in 3.9 seconds.

For charging, a megawatt-level flash charging system is standard, providing 400km of range in 5 minutes at room temperature and a full charge in 9 minutes. The plug-in hybrid version uses the fifth-generation DM system, offering a pure electric range of approximately 342km and a combined range exceeding 2000km.

In terms of intelligent driving, the new vehicle is equipped with the “God’s Eye-B” system and a roof-mounted lidar, supporting NOA (Noise, Arrival, and Occupancy) functions for both highways and cities.

The cabin features a triple-screen design, equipped with an AR-HUD and a rear-seat ceiling-mounted screen. Standard features include power-closing doors, a car refrigerator, and small tables. The second row features zero-gravity aviation seats, and the third row supports power adjustment and heating, resulting in a cabin usable area ratio of up to 89.3%.

The Datang integrates almost all of BYD’s core technologies, directly competing with the Li Auto L9, the Wenjie M9, and flagship SUVs from BBA (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi) with top-tier configurations and a highly competitive price.

There is no “optimal solution,” only the “most suitable” one! The luxury of the Leapmotor D19, the chassis of the Zhiji LS8, the performance of the Jike 8X, the intelligent driving of the Wenjie M6, and the comprehensiveness of the BYD Datang—this wave of “value reconstruction” ultimately benefits consumers.
